Old birthday celebration

So, here are the pics for last year's birthday celebration.
The celebration took place at Kanmiya, a Korean restaurant located at Imaike.
The shop was full, thank god I've booked it earlier that morning....
( lepas dah merayu-rayu to the kakak korea to find 8 seats for me! ha ha ha...nasib baik akak tu baik hati and tukarkan with other customer's seat.
Occay, it was Saturday, and of course.... mlm mmg penuh ler kedai tue..
Arrive there just nice at 7:30 pm...dgn Zulham and Belle chan.
Tunggu kejap dlm 2,3 minit Azfar pun sampai pastu tunggu Dayah and Boyo.. tak lama lepas tu diaorg pun sampai lepas tersesat kejap...
takdelah tersesat teruk....sket je kan Dayah... he he he..
So, makan-makan.. sedapnye! mmg sedap makan kat kedai ni, taste org melayu...pedas-pedas gitu.
Mcm biasa, balik tu akak tuh kasik seaweed korea dgn gula-gula korea...

At last, I've managed to update some of the pics taken during our open house at Furou Mansion, Nagoya. We chose 4th November for the open house. 3rd was a public holiday, so it gives me more time to prepare for the big day. So, the menu for our open house is.....
1. Nasi impit and kuah kacang
Nasi putih with
2. Ayam masak merah
3. Labu masa lemak
4. Pajeri nenas
5. Salad
6. Meat sauce spaghetti
7. Popia goreng
8. Makizushi (Sushi)
9. Inari
10. Chocolate cake
11. Pengat pisang
12. Chocolate chip cookies, maduria plus kuih raya from Malaysia
There were only two of us, so.for sushi, inari and japanese foods I just leave it to Zulham.
He's the pro... me--->tgk ajer.
For the cookies, I've made it earlier during the fasting season. As for the cake, I've prepared it two days earlier. The rest is prepared the night before the open house.
Everything was as planned, but at around 10:30, I called Dayah to help me cut the honeydews...he he he thanks to Dayah and Nadia... for coming earlier to help me with the last minute touch ups. (tak pasal-pasal kena siap-siap awal pakai baju raya sume)
It was so fun to get together with all, chit chatting, taking pictures, --->thanks to all for the company.

Our Raya Nagoya celebration 2006 took place at Jiyugaoka like previous years.
This is the third time Raya celebration held at Jiyugaoka.
Nagoya girls prepared rendang tok, nasi impit and blueberry cheesecake while Nagoya boys prepared satay(marinated by tika), kuah kacang(rizals being the chef) and did all the shopping stuff. Family prepared their own dish like roti jala, spaghetti, laksa and of course the dish that all of us are waiting for is the murtabak by Sakinah and Abg Man plus other dishes.
The night before the event was so fun helping the girls with rendang, went to max value using the bus with belle for last minute shopping...ha ha ha, didn't shop anything actually. but luckily we went there because the boys needed two boxes of charcoals. then we went to the kaikang kacau kacau the boys preparing kuah kacang. tasting the kuah kacang with belle. kacau tikah marinating the satays...send some items to jiyugaoka. all in all, it was quite an exhausting day. |

too, arrived at 9:30am cutting the cucumbers. After a few minutes, more people arrived and people starts shaking hands, hugging, etc..he he he, but no body shed a tear.
Then, all the foods arrive. Nyummy! But it's not yet time to eat. So, the table was prepared then people starting to take pictures outdoor with glamorous hari raya 'couture'. This year the girls dresses are all fashionable. Then, after all the speeches then we start eating all the dishes prepared. So delicious! So, here we upload all the photos in this entry.
